Why can't it be mid-July yet. Also hoping that they'll be some good theatres that are showing it sans 3-fucking-D.

It's Spring, and am still reading a lot of HP. Though recently a lot of general stuff, mostly due to the fact that I've been reading off FF.net. Which sometimes can be annoying. A story will have a great premise, interesting take on the characters but then the spelling and grammar will be horrific. But I've found some gems there so I still slog through the rest.

I've mentioned somewhere, here or on LJ, that when I picture Harry Potter, he's not really clear in my mind, I don't see DR in the role. Probably cause I've always found him odd looking. But wow, what a different a picture makes. Guh, and yum.

This is a test across my three journals via iJournal. Here's some content.

I really want to rewatch Buffy, from beginning to end. I've watched it a little bit here and there, but never all in a row. Besides when it was on TV, that is. But I have the DVDs, so, yes.

I'm not all about HP, it's just my major focus right now. It's all consuming. Whenever I'm reading in a fandom I don't often read others, even if I'm keeping up with them. But with the little down time I have I've just been concentrating on HP. Haven't watched the the last half season of Stargate Atlantis. I think I've watched one or two episodes from this season's Supernatural. But occasionally I get the urge to read some long and involved story in those two as well, and the good thing about it is, there will be stories I haven't read yet, so yay! Unlike my one fandom that I go back to occasionally which doesn't have a lot. And the new that I've found aren't as good as I'd like them to be.

This fandom is Xander. :)

I love Xander crossovers. Hmm, I wonder if there are any Xander/Methos stories out. I've been reading Xander/HP or Xander/Stargate. Good stuff. Or utterly bad, heh, depending on the author/story.

But back to HP. And Harry in particular. I don't think the Harry I see when I'm reading the stories is played by Daniel Radcliff. Oh man, when I'm watching the later movies where he's older I sometimes get pulled out of the movie cause I'm not used to picturing him looking like that. Hermione, yes, Ron, for sure. But Harry? Not so much.

ANYWAY. All this brought about cause I'm watching the Order of Phoenix. Sexy. I've been reading a lot of HP fic in recent months but it's been ages since I've watched the movies, and it's weird rewatching them. I suddenly realized that I've been imagining them completely differently while reading the stories. Take Grimmauld Place for instance. Nothing as what I remembered it, it's actually a lot creepier. Or Dumbledore's revolving staircase. It actually revolves, imagine that. :)

Sirius Black, though. Just. As. Hot.

There's this scene near the beginning of the movie where Harry, Sirius, and everyone else is sitting round the table, Sirius would like to tell Harry what is going on while the other adults are against it. And Sirius gives Harry this wink. And I just about melt.

I started reading HP fic with Sirius/Remus stuff, and then moved from ship to ship, and now I'm back to Sirius. But I think I want to find some Sirius/Harry fic now.

It's that illustrated guide to safety. For instance, what to do if you catch on fire, or choke. I think they were tongue-in-cheek, or maybe they were serious but it just came across as funny?

Does anyone know who made them, or where to find them? Or really, what I'm talking about? :) It was almost as if the Onion made a help guide.

Why must some HP authors completely crush me? :( Couldn't there be a special warning to let the reader know that Harry dies in the end? Maybe HPDITE?

And these endings always sneak up on me, too, since a lot of stories hint that maybe Harry is the last Horcruxs and he'll have to sacrifice himself to kill Voldermort. But most of these stories find another way, which leads me to believe that is what will happen in the stories where he actually does die. and then, dammit. nope. Harry's dead, the end.

Why in the world would someone use the word chappies instead of chapters? agh. Hate that word. Along with wobbie.

Oh dear god, this story? So freaking funny. Draco's dry humour and comments to Harry and all are just hilarious. And his paranoia of McGonagall, and then there's Snape in the portrait, I think I hurt something from laughing so much.

Harry's eighth-year at Hogwarts is going about as well as all the others. Someone is out to get him, Aurors keep questioning him about the final battle and, worst of all, Draco is determined to repay his life debt to Harry.

First off, I need more Harry Potter icons, some more Severus, Harry and can't forget Draco. Two Rons and one Snape are just not enough.

Back at the end of August someone on my flist recommened Snape & Son by Josan. Ever since I have been eating up all HP stories. And unlike other fandoms, this one I am much less with the whole OTP. Not to say I don't have one, but I'm definitely much more flexible with them. Severus with Harry or Sirius, Lupin, Draco. Harry with Severus, Ron, Draco... you get where I'm going with this, right? :) With some Ron and Hermione, or Hermione and Pansy in the background, it's all good.

Which brings me back to wanting more icons. yes. And stories. God. Long glorius stories. One of the good things in coming into a fandom late is that there is already so much written. Course, there's already much taken off the net too. Such a shame.

And I have one more week of my 5 week vacation, where I got absolutely nothing done, except read, read and read. I am going to miss this. And what am I doing right now? Wasting time writing here, must get back to the fic. weeee.

I've changed the layout here, another the fulcrum creation. I like it. My only problem with it is that I don't have a paid account so I can't change the position of the mood theme to the bottom. But otherwise it's awesome.
