time well wasted.

Spent most of the day trying to get my tiny icons to work. Oh good god, way too many hours I will never get back. I found this IJ tutorial even, the person's journal even has it working, me on the otherhand, not so much. I've gotten them to disappear, but my tiny icons are not appearing.

I've just paid for six months of time here to test out all the advantages, got my Jack/Daniel mood icons going, should make up a step-by-step guide for IJ, though it's pretty easy to figure out. Links are the same as LJ just replace the live. And best of all, added a favicon, cause I HATE the little insane face.

Now to see if I can post with xjournal, or if there are any other Mac aps for posting to IJ.

I think, and correct if I'm wrong here, but I think Insane Journal links directly to whatever system livejournal is using for layout. Cause eljay is having a maintanance and my ij layout is gone. Coincidence, I think not.

I keep forgetting to keep this updated. I should look into that posting to all journals thing again.

Snow storm came in over night, all schools are closed, except mine, so not surprised. They never close. But I'm not going in. No way. Besides I've finished all the projects for both classes today. Still haven't decided if I'm gonna miss the later class. I'm hoping she cancels. We suppose to review for the test on Monday, but I don't know if it's worth to go in yet.

oh my god. On the radio. A snowplow has gone off the road, that's how bad it is.

Free Patient accounts are available to all new users. With this, they can:

-- Upload up to 100 icons.
-- Add 100 journals on their friends-list.

This isn't a problem now, what with the less than 20 friends, but, you know, looking to the future.

Good god, so I tried to vid, I really did. But I am so very much not patient and the program sucks. Maybe if I got the latest version it would be better? Or possibly more ram and harddrive space. Or even better, .dv version of the episode I want to use along with an .aiff version of the song. I've found that Final Cut Pro 4 only really works well, and fast, with raw materials.

After years of not having any ideas for new vids, or even the desire to make one, I now of three ideas and songs. Good thing it's summer and oh Supernatural, how I love thee. :)

The thing I kind of forgot is Final Cut Pro and how LONG it takes render the video so I can actually look at what I'm editing while editing it. I wonder if there is a better application, in Mac, for this kind of thing.
